On the 95th birthday of Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Peter Hünermann

ESCT congratulates its founder and Honorary President Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Peter Hünermann on his 95th birthday. On the occasion of his 95th birthday, a commemorative publication edited by Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Margit Eckholt, former President of the ESCT, and Dorando Michelini will be published. This publication will bring together contributions from Peter Hünermann's circle of students at the University of Tübingen. The book illustrates how thinking that inscribes itself in the fundamental historicity of human existence and the "signs of the times" will lead to a reconfiguration of the "loci-theologici doctrine". It will be seen that in his work Peter Hünermann, from his earliest thought and through his continuous reception of “philosophical, social and cultural scientific approaches prepared the methodological foundations for a world church and a synodal church."
